Raymond Paul Johnson

Raymond "Paul" Johnson Green River - Raymond "Paul" Johnson, 79, passed away July 28, 2012 at his home in Green River, from natural causes. He was born to Lillian Electa Hopper and Raymond Brigham Johnson on May 26, 1933, in Provo, Utah. He married Irene Nowyckyj December 16, 1970 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served in the US Air Force from 1952-1979 and served an LDS Mission to Great Britain from 1956 to 1958. Survivors include his wife, Irene; daughter, Barbara (Kevin) Foley, MA; sons, Jeffrey (Sarah), West Jordan, UT; and Michael (Shandra), Green River, WY; 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; siblings: Patricia (Clarence) Thomson, Carolyn (Christiaan D.) Roode, Dennis (LaRita) and Helen (Jim) Kemp; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his wife's family in Australia. He was preceded in death by parents; sister Mignon Jensen; and 1 granddaughter. Memorial services will be held Thursday, August 9, 2012, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a visitation will be held Thursday, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment: Utah Veterans Memorial Park with Military Honors.
