Renae I. Balla Rock Springs - Renae I. Balla, 55, of Rock Springs died September 27, 2011 after a sudden illness. She was born June 15, 1956 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Clayton F. Wilkerson and Nettie Ileen Heines Wilkerson. She had been employed by the Rocket Miner for the past 3 years. Her interest were playing bingo, going to movies and spending time with her granddaughter. Survivors include sons Billy J. Wilkerson of Rock Springs, and Terry “Haji” Balla of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brothers, Mike Wilkerson and wife Susan of Boulevard, California, Clayton Wilkerson and wife Tammy, and Bill Wilkerson all of Rock Springs; sister Ginger Bate and husband Terry of Rock Springs; granddaughter Khadijah Balla of Rock Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. A public viewing will be held 6-8 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Friends and family are invited afterwards to a potluck dinner at the residence of Kirk & Karly Stone, 1210 Marchant St., Rock Springs. Cremation will take place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the Renae Balla Memorial Fund, Rock Springs National Bank, 200 2nd St., Rock Springs, WY 82901.
