Richard Auble

Rock Springs, WY - Richard Abraham Auble, 73, of Rock Springs died August 10, 2004 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County after a lengthy illness. He was born February 16, 1931 in Arnold, Nebraska, the son of Charles Cortland and Virginia Schmidt Auble. He attended schools in Arnold and Gandy Nebraska and graduated from Arnold High School with the class of 1948. He also attended Utah State University. Dick married Arliene Markosek on June 12, 1959 in Monticello, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Mesa LDS Temple, Mesa, Arizona. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Lion’s Club, Utah Wildlife Federation, Search & Rescue for San Juan County, Utah, Flathead County, Montana, and Sweetwater County, Rock Springs. He had served as the Utah Representative to the National Wildlife Federation. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His interest were hunting and fishing and was involved as a volunteer with the Nebraska and Utah Fish & Game. He also taught gun safety and was a ham radio operator. Survivors include his wife Arliene of Rock Springs; two daughters, Adrienne Plemel and husband David of Rock Springs, and Tonya Creasman and husband Steve of Lexington, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Drew, Daniel, Molly, Sadie, and Maya; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Harold Auble, and sister Stella Ione. Graveside services and interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 13, 2004 at the Monticello Cemetery, Monticello, Utah.
