Robert "Bob" Bauer

Robert “Bob” Bauer Rock Springs - Robert “Bob” Bauer, 55, of Rock Springs, died October 4, 2008 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born September 7, 1953 in Cedar City, Utah, the son of Orian and Betty Brinkerhoff Bauer. He attended Cyprus High School in Salt Lake City where he graduated with the class of 1971. He also attended Salt Lake Community College. He was employed as a pipe welder for 30 years until his retirement in May 2008. He was a member of the Pipe Fitters Local 192. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His interests were golfing, camping, hunting, fishing, 4 wheelers, Harley rides, and spending time with his family and friends including his dogs Fetter and Killer. He was also a devout Oakland Raiders fan. Survivors include several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, John “Jack” Bauer, and his dog Killer. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, October 10, 2008 at Bob’s residence, 1012 Windriver, Rock Springs.
