Robert Lincoln Tiede

Rock Springs - Robert Lincoln Tiede - 90 of Rock Springs, died Wednesday June 13, 2007at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County following a short illness. He was born October 19, 1917 in Story City Iowa, the son of Earl and Clara Nordskog Tiede. Robert attended school in Wichita, Kansas. He married Carolyn Ebener in 1944 in Pinedale. She preceded him in death in 1987. He later married Saima Maki McCurtain in 1991 in Pinedale. She also preceded him in death on April 30, 2007. His interests were talking to people, writing, reading , and animals. Survivors include his daughter Roberta T. Hobday of Rock Springs; one step-daughter Judy Likwarts and husband Don of Casper; one grandson, Eric Jon Hobday of Redondo Beach, CA; and his beloved cat of 20 years, Dearie. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Clara Tiede, wives Saima and Carolyn, one brother, and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday June 18, 2007 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Friends may call 6 -8 p.m. Sunday June 17, 2007and one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will be taking place at the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family request donations to be made to the Rock Springs Humane Society, 310 Yellowstone Rd., Rock Springs.
