Robert M. Stocks Rock Springs - Robert M. Stocks, 63, of Rock Springs died Thursday, July 26, 2012 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born March 28, 1949 in Moab, Utah, the son of William N. Stocks and Felicia Violet Murphy Stocks. He attended schools in Moab and Lincoln High School in Green River. He was an ordained minister and had his private pilots license. His interests were camping, hunting, fishing, flying airplanes, music and spending time with his family, nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Survivors include his sons William N. Stocks of Dallas, Texas, Robert M. Stocks Jr. and Josh Dasch-Stocks both of Rock Springs; daughters Jenny Edwards and Staraleine V. Stocks both of Grand Junction, Colorado; brother Floyd R. Stocks of Rock Springs; grandchildren Matthew, Gregory, Hudson, Conner & Grant Stocks, Derrika, Tyler, Nathan, and Donovan Dasch. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 pm Saturday August 4, 2012 at the Green River Assembly of God Church, 1380 Hitching Post Dr., Green River, WY.
