Rod Rick Draney

Green River – Rod Rick Draney, 38, of Green River, died Saturday, July 23, 2005 at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah after a long term illness. Mr. Draney was born June 9, 1967 in Rock Springs, the son of Delano Rex Draney and Betty Jane Lucero. He attended schools in Green River and graduated from Green River High School with the class of 1986. He was employed at Draney Construction. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His interests included riding his horse “Arrow”, fishing, and camping. He also took 2nd in the state of Wyoming in troubleshooting mechanics at Green River High School. Survivors include his father, Delano Rex Draney of Green River; mother, Betty Jane Seelin of Green River; one son, Rodney Tyler Draney of Elko, Nevada; one brother, Howard Kent Draney of Green River; one sister, Terry Lee Baker of Rock Springs; two grandmothers, Mable Potter and Fay Lucero both of Green River; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son Andrew Michael Hell. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Spring. A Private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
