Roger Gilbert Tyler Rock Springs - Roger Gilbert Tyler, 58, of Rock Springs died Thursday, November 19, 2009 at his home after a sudden illness. He was born September 8, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Gordon Tyler and Marion Markle Tyler. He had been employed at the Jim Bridger Plant for the past 28 years. He had also owned several businesses. He was a member of the Sweetwater County Dive Team, Search & Rescue, and Fire District #1 Board. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Rock Springs. His interests were shooting, computers and motorcycles. Survivors include his son Murry Tyler of Redford, Michigan; daughter Jo Tyler of Westland, Michigan; father Gordon Tyler of Dearborn Heights, Michigan; brother Robin Tyler of Taylor, Michigan; sister Sandy Hill of Westland, Michigan; grandchildren, Jessi Clerkin Adkison and Tyler Clerkin both of Rock Springs, and Mia Tyler of Redford, Michigan; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Mingon Tyler. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at the First Baptist Church, C St. & Pine, Rock Springs. Rev. Lorie Dirvoronk Lundblad will officiate.
