Roger Dean Larson, 59, of Rock Springs died Tuesday October 26, 2004 at his home.
Roger was born March 3, 1945 in Rock Springs, Wyoming the son of Oliver Harvey and Louis LeVohn Helms Larson. He attended schools in Superior, Wyoming and Hayden, Colorado. He graduated from Hayden High School with the class of 1963. Roger served in the US Army and was a Veteran of the Viet Nam War and was stationed in Japan. He was employed by Church and Dwight till his retirement in 2000.
He is a member of the First Congregational Church.
His interests included football, hunting, fishing, sight seeing, and photography.
Survivors include three brothers, Marion Larson and wife Sevim, Maurice Larson and wife Ella all of Rock Springs, Wyoming, and Jay Larson of Urie, Wyoming; one sister, Darlene Mock and husband Ed of Kingman, Arizona; two aunts; several cousins; three nieces, Janel, Debbie and Milisa; and four nephews, Paul, Don, Maurice, and Bobby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Frank Elton Larson.
Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday October 29, 2004 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs.
