Roland Nimmer

Roland Louis Nimmer Green River - Roland Louis Nimmer, 82, of Green River, died May 11, 2013 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs. He was born October 17, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Henry Nimmer and Thelma Rebecca Lidgreen Nimmer. He married Janet Logan in Eagle River, Wisconsin. They were later divorced. He worked as a mason for over 50 years. He served in the US Army during the Korean Way. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. His interests were hunting and fishing. Survivors include his son Roland Kurt Nimmer of Green Bay, Wisconsin; daughters Pam Alsteen of Eagle River, Wisconsin, Candy Albrecht of Phelps, Wisconsin, Sheila Renz of Burlington, Wisconsin, Tonya Wissbroecker of Elcho, Wisconsin, and Tammie Pena of Burlington, Wisconsin; brother Henry Nimmer of Washington; sister Luella Pederson of Clearwater Lake, Wisconsin; numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Samantha Nimmer, brother Don Nimmer, and sister Viola Nimmer. Graveside service with military honors will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the Veterans section of the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
