Rose Marie Ditton Rock Springs - Rose Marie Ditton, 57, of Rock Springs died Sunday, October 5, 2008 at her residence after a short illness. She was a lifelong resident of Rock Springs. She was born January 19, 1951 in Rock Springs, the daughter of Andrew and Effie Farmer Tomich. She attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1969. Rose married James Ditton June 14, 1969 in Rock Springs. Her interests were raising her son Jimmy, spending time with her grandsons Jason and Jordan, and her sisters, nieces and nephews, camping, and taking care of her dogs. Survivors include her husband, James Ditton of Rock Springs; daughter-in-law, Jana Ditton of Pinedale; brother-in-law Bill Smith and wife Brenda of Rock Springs; sisters, Barbara Persinger and husband Gary, Susan Sweets and husband Mark all of Rock Springs; Linda McMurry and husband Ron of Casper; grandsons, Jason and Jordan Ditton; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by parents Andrew and Effie Tomich, brother James Tomich, sister Terrie Freeze, and only son James Ditton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2008 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Cremation will follow at Fox Crematory. Inurnment will take place at the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
