Royce Griffin

Royce Wayne Griffin Rock Springs - Royce Wayne Griffin, 52, of Rock Springs, died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County after a short illness. He was born February 15, 1960 in Hinton, Oklahoma, the son of Gene and Sue Griffin. He graduated from Riverton High School with the class of 1978. He worked for several oil and gas companies in Wyoming. He was currently employed with Moneyhun Welding. His interests included fishing, hunting and camping. Survivors include his two sons Jessie Griffin and wife Alicia and Jerrod Griffin all of Rock Springs; mother Sue Griffin of Rock Springs; brother Danny Griffin and wife Leslie of Corvallus, Oregon; sister Becky Mezenen and husband Doug of Lucus, Kentucky; 3 grandchildren, Rory, Bradon and Nolan of Rock Springs. He was preceded in death by his father Gene Griffin and grandson Ashton Griffin. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. A private memorial services will be held at a later date.
