Ruby Huesing

Ruby M. Huesing Rock Springs - Ruby M. Huesing, 91, of Rock Springs died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Sage View Care Center in Rock Springs after a short illness. She was born March 22, 1918 in Ft. Worth, Texas, the daughter of James and Florence Newell Martin. She married Harold E. Huesing on April 7, 1946 in Ft. Worth, Texas and he preceded her in death on December 30, 2008. She was a member of the Rock Springs Evangelical Free Church. Her interests were teaching the Bible, quilting and painting. Survivors include her sons, Alan Martin Huesing and wife Sheryl of Longview, Texas, and Stanley Hunter Huesing and wife Enya of Kaohsiung, Taiwan ROC; daughters, Gretchen Anita Brasington and husband Kim of Rock Springs, and Tracey Lynn Schurr of Lockport, New York; sister, Volera Kirkpatrick of Ft. Worth; 11 grandchildren, Gwen Flake, Merewyn Archer, Nathan, Owen, Ellen and Nolan Brasington of Rock Springs, Andrew, Jenna, and Kyle Huesing, Jessica Huesing, and Michael Gaught; great-grandsons Michael Gaught and Garrett Ray Flake; 7nieces and 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold E. Huesing, two nephews, one brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Rock Springs Evangelical Free Church, 125 Firestone, Rock Springs where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Pastor Richard Carlson will officiate. Interment will take place in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
