Ryan Phillip Martin Green River - Ryan Phillip Martin, 28, of Green River died March 9, 2008 in San Pedro, California after a sudden illness. He was born October 5, 1979 in Blackfoot, Idaho, the son of Bill Martin and Bobette Jackson Martin. Ryan attended schools in Green River. He married Kimberly Ann Knight on January 6, 2001 in Green River. He worked in the construction and oilfield industries. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His interests were fishing, working out, movies and music. Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Martin of Green River; one daughter, Alexis Lora Martin of Green River; parents, Bill Martin of Blackfoot, Idaho and Bobette Martin of Green River; two brothers, Ross L. Martin and wife Amy of Dahlonega, Georgia and Lance T. Martin and wife Jeanna of Green River; two sisters Lisa Lynn Peterson and husband Mike of Mountain View and Vicki Lee Ryans of Green River; paternal grandmother Dorothy Martin of Riverside, Idaho, parents-in-law, Rod and Lora Knight of Green River; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Shirley Jackson and Ennis Martin. Services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Green River LDS 1st & 3rd Ward Chapel, 1000West. 4th North, Green River. Bishop Robert Hunter will officiate. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Friday, March 14, 2008 and Saturday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will take place in the Riverview Cemetery, Green River.
