Sandra Halstead

Rock Springs – Sandra Elaine Carothers Halstead, 57, of Rock Springs, died Sunday August 8, 2004 at Castle Rock Convalescent Center in Green River. Sandra was born March 11, 1947 in Douglas, Wyoming the daughter of Arthur “Bud” and Dorothy J. Stone Carothers. She attended schools in Douglas. On May 30, 1965 she married Don E. Morris in Douglas, they latter divorced. In October 1977, she married Ron Halstead in Rock Springs, they were also latter divorced. Her interest included her family, kids and grandchildren, her nieces and nephews. Survivors include two sons, Todd Halstead and wife Cindy, and Troy Halstead, all of Rock Springs; three daughters, Terra McCarty, Veronica Foster and husband Donovan, Paige Dhamers and husband Justin all of Rock Springs; two brothers, Matt Carothers and wife Suzanne of Sun City, Arizona, and Mike Carothers and wife Ann of Rock Springs; eight grandchildren, Ron and Stephen Halstead, Nikiya, Kayla, and Trista McCarty, Chevy, Jayden, and Chase Dhamers; three nephews, Shaun and Blake Carothers, and Brad Carothers; and one niece, Brenda Carson. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, one sister, Eleanor Larson. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday August 12, 2004 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Inurnment will take place at Douglas Municipal Cemetery in Douglas, Wyoming.
