Sarah Davis Robinson Rock Springs – Sarah Davis Robinson, 93, of Rock Springs died December 17, 2005 at her daughter’s home in Rock Springs. Sarah, also known as Sally by many, was born on May 12, 1912 in Superior, Wyoming to Thomas and Violet Lawson Davis. While living in Superior she worked in a candy store where she met her husband, Clifford “Molly” Robinson and were married on April 6, 1935 and had been married for 59 years. He preceded her in death on April 2, 1994. There union brought five children into the family: Carma, Clifford “Skip”, Hester Lettie, Violet Dee, and Johanna. After moving to Rock Springs with her husband she cleaned the Lamplighter Motel and several apartments around town. She later managed the Kimberly Circle Apartments for 5 years. She ended her working career at Sweetwater Memorial Hospital as a kitchen worker and cook. Sarah was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many positions within the Relief Society. Survivors include her son, Clifford Allen Robinson and wife Judy of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two daughters, Carma Dufford of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Violet Dee Keywatz and husband Bert of Rock springs; sister, Hannah Tennant; brother, Austin Davis of Rock Springs both of Rock Springs; fifteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford, her daughters Hester Lettie and Johanna, parents Thomas and Violet Davis and siblings, Thelma, William Robert, Robert and Joseph. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at the White Mountain LDS Chapel, 3306 White Mtn. Blvd, Rock Springs. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs and one hour prior to the services at the Church. Interment will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Rock Springs.
