Scott Erick Burton Rock Springs - Scott Erick Burton, 41, of Rock Springs, died August 31, 2013 at his home. He was born February 12, 1972 in Norwalk, California, the son of Danny J. Burton and Carol Lynn Underwood Burton. He attended schools and high school in Westminster, California. He married Cindy Gutierrez on May 12, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He worked for Basic Energy Service for the last 5 years. His interests were fishing, shooting, camping, being in the outdoors, football, John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. Survivors include his wife Cindy Burton of Rock Springs; son Danny Burton of Rock Springs; daughters Elizabeth and Alaxandria Burton both of Rock Springs; sister Kelly Burton of San Bernardino, California; aunt and uncle Donna and Richard Lindly of Yucca Valley, California; numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Private family services will be held at a later time.
