Sharon Jennings Rock Springs - Sharon Jennings, 71, of Rock Springs died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County after a lengthy illness. She was born December 14, 1943 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Alma Edward Widdison and Vernice Ethyl Boulder Widdison. She attended schools in Idaho and Rawlins, Wyoming. She married Floyd Allan Jennings in Rawlins in 1959. They were later divorced. She had worked for Pamida for 10 years and also Smoker Friendly for 5 years. Her interests were collecting Elvis memorabilia, music, hunting, playing cards, reading, shopping and vacationing and spending time with children and grandchildren. Survivors include her sons Floyd Allan Jennings and wife Frances of Rock Springs, AJ Jennings of Ohio; daughters Cherie Jennings and LaRea Davis both of Rock Springs; sister Renna Honeycut of Arizona; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, children Kerry Thomas Jennings and Tannya Reni Jennings, brother Ronald Widdison, and a granddaughter Crystal Jennings. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, August 24, 2015 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs.
