Shaston Cord Cranford Rock Springs - Shaston Cord Cranford, 18, of Rock Springs died Sunday, June 21. 2009 in Rock Springs from injuries sustained in an accidental fall. He was born September 13, 1990 in Roosevelt, Utah, the son of Jacquelin K. Cranford. He attended schools in Rock Springs and completed high school. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His interests included being with his friends and family, making rap songs, participating in cage fights, making people laugh, teaching others the meaning of unconditional love, being a big brother to many, and being the proud father to his son Malachi Vincent. Survivors include his mother, Jacquelin Cranford of Rock Springs; step-father, Aron Frank Brewer and wife Kristina Lynn of Vernal; son Malachi Vincent Cranford of Rock Springs; brothers,Vincent Keith Cranford, Austin Frank Brewer, Derek Wade Brewer, Cody Allan Brewer, and Jacob Andrew Cady all of Vernal; sister, Taesha Kaylyn Brewer of Vernal Utah; grandparents, Linda Kay Cranford, Jack M. Cranford of Rock Springs, and Lynn Brewer of Vernal; aunts, Michelle Parker of Rock Springs and Jamie Cranford of Gillette; uncles, Matthew Cranford and wife Jentry of Rock Springs and Mark Brewer of Vernal; numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Arvel Oaks, Allan Frank Brewer, Jack T. Cranford, and Jennie Alice Karen Cranford. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Davis 1st Ward LDS Chapel, 1500 E 3990 S, Vernal, Utah. Graveside service and inurnment will follow at the Rock Point Cemetery, Maeser, Utah.
