Sheron Medill

d. March 30, 2012

Sheron Lee Beveridge Medill On Friday March 30, 2012, Sheron Lee Beveridge Medill our mother, sister, grandmother and friend, passed away from complications due to an infection. She was born on the cold, windy morning of April 7, 1942 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Bulah and Robert Beveridge. Those early years were difficult with Sheron’s father away serving in the Navy during World War II. After the war, life returned to normal with her dad’s return and Sheron’s sister Sandra joining the family. She attended school in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1960. On July 15, 1961 she married her sweetheart, Adam Medill. They spent 39 wonderful years together and raised two outstanding daughters. Sheron was a wonderful mother to Nyla and Wendy, always having them dressed sharply and keeping their home immaculate. Sheron loved doing things with her family and over the years she enjoyed music, square dancing, playing cards, riding motorcycles, bowling and golf. Sheron will always be remembered for her love of giving. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and outside of giving to her family, Sheron enjoyed giving her time to others. Her most favorite job was volunteering in the respiratory therapy unit at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. She served over 8,000 hours during her 16 years of volunteer work. Sheron truly loved the the people she worked with at MHSC. Sheron is survived by her daughter Nyla (Shayne), her daughter Wendy (Sterling) and her sister Sandra. She is preceded in death by her mother Bulah and her father Robert Beveridge. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Friends may call 7:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday April 4, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will take place at the Mountain View section of the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery, Rock Springs.
