Shirley Sue Patton

Casper - Private services were held for Shirley Sue Patton, 71, who died November 18, 2007, after a lengthy illness. She was born January 7, 1936, in Tulsa Oklahoma, the daughter of Frank McGill and Dorothy Susan Wolfe. She came to Casper in 1972, fell in love with the mountains and spent the rest of her life where she wanted to be. She and her husband did extensive traveling all over the world. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Patton of Casper; a daughter, Susan Ganskop of Green River; son, Sam Patton of Scottsdale, Arizona; five grandchildren; one great-grand-daughter; two brothers, Bill McGill and Kenneth McGill and two sisters, Mary Alice Smith and Diana Edwards, all of Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers. Contributions may be made to Wyoming Medical Center Foundation and Education Fund, 1233 E. 2nd St, Casper, WY 82601. Newcomer Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
