Fort Washakie, WY- Stanley Charles Kessler, 64, of Fort Washakie, Wyoming, died Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. He was born March 12, 1944 in Eads, Colorado, the son of Charles Kessler and Lucile Huffman. He attended elementary schools in Rifle, Colorado and was a graduate of Rifle High School with the class of 1962. Stanley was employed for many years as a heavy equipment operator with Garfield County, Colorado. His interests included hunting, fishing, and hot rods. He was a member of Colorado car clubs and enjoyed attending car shows. Stanley is survived by his brother, Joe Kessler of Dubois, Wyoming; two nieces, Kara Kessler and Sada Selvig of Riverton, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lucile Kessler. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs, Wyoming. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rifle, Colo. Ellis Myers will officiate.
