Stephen Taggart

Stephen C. Taggart Green River - Stephen C. Taggart, 52, of Green River, died Saturday, September 5, 2015 at his home. He was born May 7,1963 in Igloo, South Dakota, the son of Arthur D. Taggart and Jean H. Kegel Taggart. He attended schools in Clearfield, Utah. He worked as a welder for many years. His interests were fishing, camping, taking walks, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include sons Stephen J. Taggart and wife Allissa of Vernal, Utah, Jakob Taggart and Skyler Taggart both of Green River; sisters Virginia Montgomery and husband David of Kentucky, Marlene T. Kelso and husband T. Jay and Patricia Mitchell all of Green River; grandchildren Abigal, Jay, Khloe, JD, Jackson and Jayce Taggart; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Jean Taggart, brothers Mike and Gary Taggart. Cremation will take place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, family request donations to be made to the Stephen Taggart Memorial Fund at any Trona Valley Federal Credit Union.
