Stetsan Sierra Butler Rock Springs - Stetsan Sierra Butler, 19, of Rock Springs died Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the University Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born January 29, 1997 in American Fork, Utah, the daughter of Michael Reed Butler and Brandy Lynn Bennett (Childress). She attended schools in American Fork and Rock Springs High School, and Independence High School. She has currently been working as a secretary for Alexis Auto Body and Arby’s in Rock Springs for the past year. Her interests include photography, being social and listening to music. She was extremely generous and everyone was her friend. Survivors include her parents Brandy and Colby Childress of Rock Springs; her dog Matthew Butler; brothers Justin Michael Butler of Rock Springs, Dakota Jay Bennett of American Fork, Utah, Bradlee Dean Emery of Highland, Utah, and Dalton Wayne Childress of Wichita Falls, Texas; sisters Dallas Cheyanne Andersen of Rock Springs, Brooke Dawnielle Childress of Wichita Falls, and Kimberly Renae McCoy and husband Erik of Ogden, Utah; grandparents Janet Luke of Evanston, Wyoming, Reed and Becky Butler of American Fork, Colleen Tiede of Evanston, Kim and Jay R Bennett of American Fork, and Patricia Childress of Wheeler, Texas; great-grandmother Jeanne Wilding Coombs of Salem, Oregon; aunts Amanda Childress of Wheeler, Texas, Molly Bennett of American Fork, Penny and Don Stokes of Rathdrum, Idaho, Toni and David Hawkins of Orem, Utah, Karen Butler of Levan, Utah, Shelly Caley of Bicknell, Utah, Rhonda and Steve Williams of Las Vegas, Nevada, Crystal and Justin Terry of Riverdale, Utah, Kendra and Brock Johnson of McDonald, Pennsylvania; uncles Devin Butler of American Fork, Peter and Dustee Johnson of Pleasant Grove, Utah and Jeromy and Ariann Childress of Green River; numerous cousins; one nephew Caél Declan McCoy of Ogden, Utah. She was preceded in death by her father Michael Reed Butler, grandparents Lloyd Wayne Childress, Emma Laree Carter, Monte and Ethel Bennett, Glenn Sorenson Wilding, and Reed Alton Butler, aunt Kerri Lynn Butler and uncle Jeffrey Alton Butler. Cremation will take place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2016 at Bunning Park, J Street and Evans Street, Rock Springs. Pastor Larry Johnson will officiate.
