Sybil P. Brady
Green River - Sybil P. Brady, 91, of Green River, Wyoming died March 6, 2013 at her home. She was born December 16, 1921 in Vernal, Utah, the daughter of Curtis Slaugh and Chloe Roberts Slaugh.
She attended schools in Manila, Utah and graduated from high school with the class of 1939.
She married Leland Leon Brady September 11, 1945 in McKinnon, Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Her interests were animals including horses, squirrels, and birds. and collecting rocks
Survivors include her husband Leland L. Brady of Green River; sons Dennis Brady, Neldon Brady, Dell Brady, Marvin Brady and Aron Brady all of Green River; daughter Lenna Brady Ho Ching of Draper, Utah; foster son Leon Herbine of Albuquerque, NM; brother Myron Slaugh of Vernal, Utah; 26 grandchildren; 90 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Green River LDS Stake Center, 120 Shoshone Ave., Green River. Bishop John Poole will officiate.
Friends may call 6-8 pm Friday, March 8, 2013 and 11:00 am - 12:30 pm Saturday March 9, 2013 at the church.
Interment will take place in the Riverview Cemetery, Green River.
