Sylvia Rose Johnson Green River - Sylvia Rose Johnson, 64, of Green River, died Sunday, May 27, 2012 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born May 10, 1948 in Pasco, Washington, the daughter of Edward Larroque and Dorothy Carey Larroque. She married Dale E. Johnson July 12, 1998 in Green River. She had been employed at City Market in Green River for 16 years. She was a member of the Golden Hour Senior Center in Green River. Her interests were reading, camping, and keeping in contact with her friends. Survivors include her husband Dale Johnson of Green River; sons John Norton of Cololrado, and Mike Norton of Wyoming; mother Dorothy Lash of Washington; sisters Dawn Richey and Mary Skalicky both of Washington; brother Peter Emmerson of Washington; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Walter Hopkins and Step-father Gerland Lash. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. At her request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Sweetwater County, 809 Thompson St. Suite D, Rock Springs, WY 82901.
