Terence Spencer Staten St. Paul, MN - Terence Spencer Staten, 25, of St. Paul, Minnesota and formerly of Rock Springs, died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at his home in St. Paul. He was born July 18, 1985 in Rock Springs, the son of Terreal Spencer Kirk and Beverly Ann Staten. He attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from North St. Paul High School in St. Paul. He also attended St. Paul University. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Rock Springs. His interests were music, rapping, and spending time with his children. Survivors include his fianc� Lena Barnes of St. Paul; sons Tari Lamar Davis, Malachi Lee Davis, and Terrence Spencer Staten Jr. all of St. Paul; daughter Nashia Staten of St. Paul; mother Beverly Staten of Rock Springs; father Terreal Kirk of St. Louis, MO; brother Lamar Maurice Yarber of Rock Springs; sisters, Marquita Michelle Kirk of Palo Alto, California, Mary Nicole Kirk, Marteisha Namarae Kirk, and Marchelle Nikita Kirk all of Rock Springs; aunt Ruthie Mae Staten of Rock Springs; numerous great-aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and great-grandparents. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Cremation will follow at Fox Crematory.
