Terry Michael Zanetti
Rock Springs - Terry Michael Zanetti, 71, lifelong resident of Rock Springs, died Saturday, November 28, 2015 at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He was born April 1, 1944 in Rock Springs, the son of Pete Zanetti and Billie Carroll Zanetti. He attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1962. He had also attended WWCC and University of Wyoming.
He had served in the National Guard for a number of years. He had worked as a real estate developer retiring in 2006.
He married Paula Moody June 13, 2012 in Elko, Nevada.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
His interests were classic cars, collecting 50's memorabilia, racing, flying, motorcycles, keeping up with current events and politics, playing pool, and spending time with his family. He created the “Graffiti Hall” museum to display cars and memorabilia. He also built a go-cart track for the entertainment of many. He was a generous person, donating freely to many causes. He was considered by many as “One in a Billion”.
Survivors include his wife Paula Zanetti; sons Scott Zanetti and companion Jennifer Knox, and Casey Moody; daughters Terilynn Matringa and companion Matt Duffy, Debbie DeFauw and husband Ron, Anna Moody, Mya and Justin Boren and Breck Moody; brothers Pete Zanetti and Bill Zanetti; grandchildren Bella and Kenny Knox-Zanetti, Justin Zanetti, Hannah and Ronnie DeFauw, T-way Duffy, Vincent, Zavi and Lincoln-Jaxx Moody, Kell and Bodie Boren, Stetson and Colton Moody, Aria, Noah & Michaela Moody; several cousins, numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete & Billie Zanetti, son Bodie Moody, and granddaughter Ariana Moody.
A celebration of life will be held 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Rock Springs LDS Stake Center, 2055 Edgar St., Rock Springs.
