Valerie Elaine Rutstein Rock Springs - Valerie Elaine Rutstein, 40, of Rock Springs died Wednesday March 24, 2010 near Wamsutter from injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was born December 28, 1969 in Rock Springs, the daughter of Steve and Sherry Worthen Estes. She attended schools in Green River and graduated from Green River High School with the class of 1988. She also attended WWCC and received her LPN. Valerie married Kenneth T. Rutstein on February 2, 1990 in Rock Springs. She had been employed for Lincare for the past 4 years. Her interests were dogs and spending time with her grandson. Survivors include her husband Kenneth Rutstein of Rock Springs; son, Robert Rutstein and wife Andrea of Rapid City, South Dakota; daughters, Whitney Rae Rutstein of Rock Springs, and Beth Rutstein of Rapid City; parents, Steve and Sherry Estes of Green River; brother, Mike Estes and wife Michelle of Lusk; brother-in-law, Ronald Rutstein and wife Jen of Massachusetts; sister Janie Deschene and husband Paul of Reston, Virginia; sister-in-laws Pat Faraqlia of Long Beach, New York, and Lori Kay of Magna, Utah; grandson, Riley Jake Rutstein of Rock Springs; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and several nieces. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Dutch & Meg Shockley, and Junior & Dorothy Worthen. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2010 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs.
