Vincent Martinez Rock Springs - Vincent Martinez, 78, of Rock Springs died Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Sage View Care Center after a short illness. He was born November 13, 1930 in Rock Springs, the son of Frank and Beatrice Hernandez Martinez. He attended school in Superior and graduated from Superior High School with the class of 1950. Vincent was employed by the UP Railroad for many years until his retirement. He also had worked for Broadway Liquor in Rock Springs. His interests were art and playing the accordion. Survivors include a daughter, Norma Hargrove and husband Randy of Green River; sister-in-law Fortinata Martinez of California; 2 granddaughters, 1 grandson, and 1 great-granddaughter; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Robert Martinez. Cremation has taken place a Fox Crematory. At his request, no funeral services will be held.
