Wanda Lucille Daggett

Wanda Lucille Daggett, 83, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her home on January 20, 2025 following a long battle with cancer.

She was born on April 6, 1941 in Oklahoma.

Wanda graduated from St. Helens Hish School in Oregon with the class of 1959.

A long time resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming, she worked over 40 years as a waitress to support and raise her 4 sons and later became manager at Sands Café. She retired in 2006.

Wanda enjoyed spending her time with family and loved ones (including her dogs), and was known to be frequently looking forward to new episodes of true crime.

Survivors include her sons Richard Schanno and wife Karen of Oak Harbor, WA, Rodney Schanno of Shoshoni, WY; and her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Harold Schanno, her second husband Ron Daggett, mother Edna Baker, sister Louella Labenski, and her sons Randal Schanno and Russel Schanno.

Cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery at a later date.
