Wayne Campbell

Wayne Campbell Rock Springs - Wayne Campbell, 76, of Rock Springs, died Tuesday June 21, 2011 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County after a sudden illness. He was born April 21, 1935 in Onawa, Iowa, the son of Hiram William Campbell and Edna Steward Campbell. He married Mary Miltnovich on March 29, 1969 in Rock Springs. She preceded him in death November 7, 2006. He had served as a veteran in the US Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Church & Dwight for over 20 years until his retirement. His interests were building things and tinkering with cars. Survivors include two sons; Larry Campbell of Lebanon, Oregon and Len Campbell of Parma, Idaho; daughter, Lori Campbell Wright of Nampa, Idaho; brother Floyd Campbell and wife Jeanie of Silver City, Iowa; sister Elsie Grandgenett of Onawa; grandchildren Larry Jr., David, Lee, Charles, Perry, Len Jr. Colby, Kylie and Stevie; numerous grandchildren; a few nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Campbell, son Lee Campbell, and grandson Ace Mowry. Military honors and interment will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs.
