Wendy Blaisdell Rock Springs - Wendy "Bear" Barker Blaisdell, 41 of Rock Springs, died Monday morning December 13, 2010 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County after a sudden illness. She was born on June 19, 1969, the daughter of John F. and Barbara Stoll Barker. She attended schools in Green River where she met and married Bill Blaisdell on June 19, 1988. They raised three children together. Wendy always enjoyed helping others and was always there for anyone. She had many jobs over the years, but her favorite was being a mom and then a grandma. She spent a lot of time with her children and grandbabies. They were her world. Survivors include her husband, Bill Blaisdell; three children, Tabatha Blaisdell and Aldo Valdez, Patrick Blaisdell, Daniel Blaisdell and Kailey Maher all of Rock Springs; three grandchildren, Maddix and Kali Valdez and Bryce Blaisdell all of Rock Springs; siblings Jim Barker and Cori Griffith of Farson, Jennifer Barker and Burt Beamer of Omaha, Nebraska, and Valerie Birningham of Green River; grandfather Willard Youtz of Modesto, California; several aunts ,uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, father-in-law, daughter Amanda Jo, son John Terry "JT", and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nephew. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs where friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2010 and Tuesday one hour prior to the services. Interment will take place in the Riverview Cemetery, Green River.
