Bill Dee Haines
Rock Springs - Bill Dee Haines, 57, a lifelong resident of Rock Springs, died Friday, April 1, 2016 at his home after a lengthy illness.
He was born November 18, 1958 in Rock Springs, the son of William Liller Haines and Audrey Darlene Miller Haines.
He attended schools in Wells, Nevada, and Rock Springs. He graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1976.
Bill married Laurie L. Romero September 10, 1988 in Moose, Wyoming.
He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator and groundman for Bridger Coal Co.
He was a member of the NRA. His interests were his family, hunting, shooting, 4 wheeling, Nascar, UW sports, taking care of his beautiful yard, fantasy and wildlife artwork, listening to music, and walking his dogs Libby and Gibbs.
Survivors include his wife Laurie Haines of Rock Springs; mother-in-law and father-in-law Ren and Sue Romero of Farson; daughters Alisa M. Haines of Denver, and Lindsey E. Haines of Rock Springs; brothers Richard Gunyan and wife Shirley of Daniel, Wyoming, Roger Gunyan and wife JoAnn of Rock Springs, Robert Haines of Gillette, and Russell Haines of Bellingham, Washington; sisters Betty Domson and husband Bill of Rock Springs, Cheryl Gunyan of Gillette, Bonnie Seeley and husband Bob of Spokane, Washington, and Frances Haines of Bellingham; uncle Howard Haines of Englewood, Colorado; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Audrey Haines, and 4 aunts and 5 uncles.
Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 at
Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Friends may call 10:30 -11:00 am prior to the services at the funeral home.
Inurnment will take place in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
