William Wade Parker
Green River - William Wade Parker, 58, of Green River died February 3, 2014 near Evanston following a sudden illness.
He was born July 19, 1955 in Rock Springs, the son of Otis Deaton Parker and Betty Jean Nelson Parker. He attended schools in Green River and Colorado graduating from Roosevelt High School in Johnstown, Colorado with the class of 1974.
He was a veteran having served in the US Army.
He worked as a truck driver for over 30 years.
His interest were trucking, watching western movies, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his mother Betty Jean Parker of Greeley, Colorado; sons Steven Parker of Green River and William Parker Jr. of Greeley, Colorado; daughter Patricia Madison of Green River; stepsons Carlos Ramirez of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Mark Ramirez of California; brothers Donald Parker of Greeley, and Thomas Parker of Rock Springs; sisters Mary Parker of Green River, Ruth Labriole and husband Frank of Greeley, and Darla Rippy and husband Mike of Cheyenne; grandchildren Trystan, Brandon, Breanna and Alyssa Madison, Isaac, Steven, Rebecca, and Trinity Parker; several aunts and uncles; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father Otis Parker, brother Gary Nelson, and son Brian Parker.
Cremation will take place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs.
